Just stopped in to buy a bolt. The person in the area was making a key for another customer. When he stopped the machine I asked if I could borrow a pen. The look the guy gave me would make you think I insulted his wife. As I got my bolt and filled out the self serve back he loudly berated me to another customer (The guy he was making the key for) saying "People in Prescott used to know what patience is. Obviously that guy doesn't understand what patience means."I returned the pen and just as loudly said, "I apologize for offending you."Usually the people at this True Value are really nice but they tend not to be the managers.
Helpful Hometown people. True Value genuinely cares about the customer. My husband and I have been shopping here for hardware, plumbing, tools and lawn care items since 1986.
They actually have customer service at this store. Not like the big box stores. Great inventory of all kinds of things. It is my go to place where I can ask where can I find something to fix this?
Good, relatively new 'old-fashioned' hardware store. Lots of stuff in almost every department with folks who can help and know what they're talking about. Perhaps pricier than the big box stores but with much more coverage of items with real help!
