l have been a patient at MVVRH twice, and l could NOT have had a more positive experience! After two broken hips (exactly two months apart). l am doing really well.I've also had outpatient therapy following my release, and l was just as impressed with that part of the program.It's been just over two years since my first stay, and it won't be too much longer until my second stay also sees its second "anniversary"... l have gone back several times, simply to say "Hi!" to all of the wonderful people who work there.
All staff are awesome however the PCTs do most of the heavy lifting! (Literally and figuratively). Lisa and Pam John and Nina Woodard think you two are awesome women!
I went directly from knee replacement surgery to Mountain valley. This is a casting and wonderfully staffed facility who are safety oriented. They helped me with my PT and OT needs. I couldn't recommend any other facility who would be better than the were to me. Food in the rehab was relatively good. I did not hand much of an appetite but what I did have was good.
Place is a joke they have no urgency to get patients there medicine that they need to help them recover nor do they know much about medical practice this please should be retrained or closed down
I have call the care manager April Major several times before my sister was discharged . My brother and I was very concerned about our sister going to a fifth wheel to live in. She is in very bad shape. I am concerned that our Brother in law will not take the proper care of our sister. He has a home that is a rental and can let her live there, and that would be the best place for her to live, very close to town where she can have her friends and family visit her. I am very upset that the care manager did not call me back! I would not recommend this place to anyone. They cant call back the concerned party! Very bad business!
