Great place to hike with a loop trail and lots of "hidden" side trails. There are several entrances and one of them does have a water fountain for both humans and dogs. you can also find a trail map. the road next to this place also leads to the history odd fellows cemetery. However, beware of the vagrants and bums that illegally camp at the place.
Perfect short hike no huge up clines or down. Scenic Rock and Dry Creek areas with a couple of picnic tables also.No nighttime camping just open during the day.
Good trails with steep and shallow terrain to get a good cardio workout
Beautiful little park on a giant hill! Great for viewing the sunset and picnics! Several benches throughout. It is a big hill so hiking it requires going up it to get to the good areas, but the trails are flat and easy. Dogs MUST be on leash. Please do NOT litter!Note: Visiting during the day is the safest as this park becomes quite wild at night...plenty of Coyotes, Javelinas, Cougars, Bob Cats, Deer, Snakes, various bugs such as Tarantulas & Butterflies, Squirrels, Rats, and Bunnies frequent this area! I've seen them all here! Be aware and stay safe. Respect the wildlife!
Great place for peaceful reading, birdwatching, or a nature walk with kids. Easy to navigate with restrooms close enough for a 3 yr olds bladder. Small playground with 2 ladder like bug shaped climbing structures and a t-rex spring rider
