Beautiful campsites. Well maintained with a friendly host. Unfortunately fire restrictions were in place when we camped our first time there but we were prepared. Unfortunately one campsite completely ignored the restrictions. They were the only ones that had a fire in the blowing winds. The host should have shut them down. It could have been disastrous.
Had a great experience at this campground. Great sites with shade and well positioned amenities (water, restrooms, trash bins). The camp host was exceedingly nice and helpful. Another volunteer gave me great tips on local hikes. Several nice hikes can be done directly from the campground. At the same time, the campground was very convenient to town and supplies. Rates were reasonable. Only thing that would have made it more awesome would have been shower facilities. Would recommend and hope to stay here again.
Typical NF spot. Think it was $14. No services. Pretty quiet. The only thing that was different here was that the pay envelope you fill out, there is a piece you tear off and clip to your camp pole with the number of your site. Didn't figure that one out.
We enjoyed our time in this quiet campground that was close to town, yet still in the forest.
Clean campground with very good hosts. Plenty of beautiful trails to walk or ride on.
